Who starts here
No prior Russian required. Able to recognise the Cyrillic alphabet by the end of this level.
What is mastered
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases (CEFR A1). Ready for KSR-2.
Who starts here
Has completed KSR-1 (A1) or demonstrates equivalent: reads Cyrillic, uses basic everyday phrases.
What is mastered
Can communicate in simple, routine tasks on familiar topics (CEFR A2). Ready for KSR-3.
Who starts here
Has completed KSR-2 (A2) or equivalent: handles routine exchanges, simple connected text.
What is mastered
Can produce connected text on familiar topics and handle most travel/daily situations (CEFR B1). Ready for KSR-4.
Who starts here
Has completed KSR-3 (B1) or equivalent: produces connected text, expresses opinions with reasons.
What is mastered
Can interact with fluency, argue a viewpoint, and produce clear detailed text (CEFR B2). Exam-ready.
